CATALYST SELECTION
Pt/C or PtRu/C on one carbon-paper format
Choose Pt/C or PtRu/C for the operating condition, then review the common supply specification. The catalyst layer is coated onto the carbon-paper gas diffusion layer, so HXP-ca is a catalyst-coated substrate (CCS), also called a gas diffusion electrode, rather than a catalyst-coated membrane (CCM).

How do I buy the HXP-ca?
HydroXpand sells it directly. Send the catalyst (Pt/C or PtRu/C), format and quantity through the enquiry form or to [email protected]; we return a quotation with price, lead time and Incoterms, and the lead time counts from the day we accept your purchase order.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. Standard formats can be ordered from a single sheet with no minimum order value.
What are the standard format, catalyst loading and lead time?
The standard format is 200 × 300 mm at 260 ± 20 µm with 0.2 mgPGM/cm² catalyst loading, with a choice of Pt/C or PtRu/C for your operating condition. Standard sheets ship two weeks from PO acceptance; custom specifications take up to two months.
How much does it cost?
Price depends on catalyst, format, quantity and Incoterms, so it is issued as a quotation.
Can it be used for reactions other than water electrolysis?
HXP-ca is a Pt/C or PtRu/C electrode for the hydrogen evolution reaction, and we hold no performance data for CO₂ reduction or chlorine evolution. For such uses the cathode stays in your design scope; we have supplied the HXP-an anode and the cell and stack hardware alone.
What are the commercial terms and the country of origin?
EXW is the base term and other Incoterms such as DAP are available. The country of origin is the Republic of Korea; a certificate of origin is provided, so FTA preference may apply in countries that have an FTA with Korea.
